Peace is defined as a society in which individuals and groups can resolve thier conflicts, or learn to live with them, Compassion, Social Justice and participation can only be achieved with the absence of violence, this concept of peace is inspired by organization for peace and Development's (OPD) vision for humanity - a world in which swords are turned into ploughshares where the poors and oppressed have received justice.

OPD is working very hard to create awareness, develop, demonstrate and disseminate in Pakistan innovative programs to promote a culture of peace, harmony, social justice and development by providing information and resources to marginalized and indigenous groups to become self-reliant.
